My father, who is a Master Mason and a Shriner, tells me that it originated from my great-grandfather and was made by the Dudley Watch Company out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
APPRAISER
And was your great-grandfather also a Mason?
GUEST
Yes, Mason as well.
APPRAISER
Okay, well, that's good, because that's what the Dudley Watch Company was famous for, was for creating the Masonic watch. It's in great condition. It's got this radiating dial to it. And then if we go on the inside, the thing that really sets it apart and, again, what they're famous for, is the Masonic movement. This is one of their first editions that they came up with when they separated from the Hamilton Watch Company. Because it's in great condition, comes with the original keystone box, it's the kind of thing every collector would love. I think at retail this would probably find its way in the range of about $6,000.
