(back up singer laughs) I think I missed the memo here. All black. Why am I? Am I in heaven?

(band members laugh) It could be. So where was I before? My goodness. Guys, it's so good to see you all, and to all the viewers at home, thank you so much.

We know that, there's a million things you could have done right now, and you chose to be with us. We really appreciate that. And we're going to be shot on, on 8-K, 8-K is futuristic. It's like you see every little pimple.

It's so clear. No, seriously, ladies and gentlemen, they say that, there's nothing beyond 8-K that the eye would even realize. So that's it, 8-K, that's where it is. And in about 10 years from now, that's where it's at.

It's not even at 4-K, but we're shooting in 8-K, and we can always bring it down to 4-K, but we have it in 8-K. It's actually scary because, they say it's so clear, it's like if you're looking out of a window, you know, open window, seriously. And I don't know, do we want them to see us so good? -

All

Yeah. They might read our minds. I don't know. (band and audience laugh) But anyway, we're also shooting in virtual reality, which is super cool.

What a night. What a night. Christ the savior was born. (audience says yes) It's all about the spirit, of why we're here today.

And what I love about this time is also, it's as if God, puts a pause on the planet and everyone's looking into the same direction, and in the music business, what I like about Christmas is, it's not about sounds, it's not about the latest productions. It's, whatever is timeless. That's why we have those Christmas classics every year. They don't get old, you know.

And it's beautiful. it's rough already, but Christmas is coming. And so this song, talks about that. You know, we're all going through, different phases in life, and some years are better and some are worse.

And the ones that are worse, turn out to be when you look back, ah, wasn't so bad after all. It was actually a good one, a new door opened. I can't wait for Christmas. (audience laughs and claps) Thank you. Christmas, you know. Christmas was always big when I grew up.

I come from a little tiny, country. It's really tiny, especially here in the US, when you talk about a country, that only has 37,000 people, it's a whole country. It's a little principality. It's between Austria and Switzerland.

It's called Liechtenstein, the Principality of Liechtenstein. And so we have all four seasons, a lot of snow there. And, I wrote a children's book, last year actually, it's called Alex, and Alex is my name. I grew up as a biracial child, in a dominantly white country.

And especially when I grew up, I was, always the only non-white kid in school. I mean, you can imagine 30. I mean, when I grew up, it was like 30,000 people, you know? And then there was me.

That was interesting. So the children's book, is a little bit about that. And it's really small. It's 60 square miles.

It's beautiful though. It's beautiful. It's sandwiched between Austria and Switzerland. So it's in the heart of Europe.

You would fly to Zurich. If you want to reach it by air. And, I don't know, does somebody have the children's book here? (audience member replies) I do All right.

You do. (Alexia replies) Beautiful Alex, the Reindeer. Thanks, yeah. So it is biracial, see.

and it's out there, it's everywhere. And I don't know, have you seen it Alexia? Yes. I think that it's wonderful.

Thank you. Alex saves Christmas. Yes. Yeah, it's a children's book.

It rhymes. The children book. It has some cool illustrations. Let's see, Alex saves Christmas.

In the country of Liechtenstein. You pronounce it very sexy. Oh. (audience laughs) You know, where are you from?

Just tell the people where you're from. Well, I grew up in Australia, but my dad is Swiss and my mom is Austrian, so. Well, this world's smallest Wonderland, a reindeer group, it didn't open their hearts, to understand, (smooth jazzy piano sounds) Alex was different. They felt a two tone reindeer wouldn't be right.

One side of him, was white as snow. The other, was black as night. This wasn't the only reason he didn't fit in well. When he was eager and happy, you could easily tell, his antlers were gold, and they shined bright.

Like a lighthouse beacon, glowing in the night. Yeah, it is a happy end though. Okay. Very important.

Cool. Yeah, so we're going to do the song, Alex. Thank you. Thank you.
