Nathan Graham: Thank y’all so much. My name is Nathan Graham. Thank y’all so much for being here.
“Pride” by Nathan Graham
[groovy rock music]
I lost my mind
Searching for what I can’t find
So far away
From my home
I lost myself
In this world, in this place
And I never felt
So alone
I won’t last another night
On my own
I’m stealing time
Telling lies
Promise you I’m fine
And don’t you worry, yeah
Over me
Say one more night
One more year, one more mile
Until I can find my own way, yeah
Until I’m free
I will always let my pride
Get the best of me
[groovy rock music]
[electric guitar solo]
[groovy rock music]
I lost my mind
Searching for what I can’t find
So far away
From my home
One, two, three!
My pride gets the best of me
When I’m alone
My pride gets the best of me
When I’m alone
[groovy rock music]
Thank you!
“Fake Friends” by Nathan Graham
[groovy rock music]
Don’t you feel better
Better off alone?
Does it make you feel like a man
To know she’s waiting at home?
And don’t you feel sorry
Sorry for yourself?
For showing us your busted heart
You thought nobody could tell
Ohh ohh
No one cared that you left the party
And no one cared you made a fool of yourself
[groovy rock music]
I always thought
I thought that you know best
But that cocaine smile
Can’t hide what’s buried deep in your chest
Saw you going down
Going down in flames
Well, I guess I just didn’t know
That I was doing the same
Whoa, oh, oh, oh
To tell you the truth, I needed your excuses
To tell you the truth, I needed someone to blame
Yeah
[groovy rock music]
And I can’t pretend like I was the good one
And I can’t pretend I played by the rules
And I can’t know how fast we were falling
Ooh
If only we knew
If only we knew
If only we knew
If only we knew
[groovy rock music]
[audience applauding and cheering]
Thank y’all so much!
Nathan Graham: Thank y’all for being out here with us in the heat.
“Right One” by Nathan Graham
[groovy rock music]
Spent my life as a selfish man
Foolin’ around with people’s hearts
And I’ve been prayin’ and doin’ all I can
The bottom is the perfect place to start
Feels like that I’ve been wrong enough
I lost my way a time or two
I need to look on the other side
To know I’m on the right one with you
I’m on the right one with you
Spent my life as a selfish man
Runnin’ around from town to town
And I’ve been prayin’ and doin’ all I can
And love will keep me right here on the ground
Feels like that I’ve been wrong enough
I lost my way a time or two
I need to look on the other side
To know I’m on the right one with you
I’m on the right one with you
[groovy rock music]
Feels like that I’ve been wrong enough
I lost my way a time or two
Feels like that I’ve been wrong enough
I lost my way a time or two
I need to look on the other side
To know I’m on the right one with you
I’m on the right one with you
[cymbal ringing]
[audience applauding and cheering]
Nathan Graham: I got introduced to this festival about three years ago, and it has allowed us to build this amazing market, this amazing fan base. Everybody loves music here. It’s really easy to get a following going ’cause, you know, like, they’re just so open to it. It’s amazing.
“Worrying My Life” by Nathan Graham
[groovy rock music]
Never know when to run
Never know when to stand
Never know how to find a place
And say, “This is the end”
But that’s all right
I guess it’s not the right time
Do I know when to stand?
Do I know when to swim?
Never know how to find a place
And say, “This is the end”
But that’s all right
I guess it’s not the right time
What am I doing wrong?
Why does it take so long?
Don’t wanna spend my time
Worrying my life
Worrying my life
Do I know when to sink?
And do I know when to swim?
Was I doing just fine?
Was it the shape that I’m in?
Well, that’s all right
I guess it’s not the right time
Do I know what it was?
Or ever what it should be?
Was I playing a part?
Or was the part playing me?
Well, that’s all right
I guess it’s not the right time
What am I doing wrong?
Why does it take so long?
Don’t wanna spend my time
Worrying my life
Worrying my life
[electric guitar solo]
What am I doing wrong?
Why does it take so long?
Don’t wanna spend my time
Worrying
What am I doing wrong?
Why does it take so long?
Don’t wanna spend my time
Worrying my life
Worrying my life
[audience applauding and cheering]
Nathan Graham: Thank y’all so much. There’s a lot of people that I’ve seen at every set that we’ve done here. [audience member cheering] Yeah, thank y’all. Even with a broken toe, you came to the show. Thank you so much.
Nathan Graham: All right. Gonna play a song from a friend of ours who wrote it for the album. Mike Maimone, he’s a Mile of Music alumni. Been here many times. So we’re gonna do that for you now, here we go.
Song by Mike Maimone
Would you love what we have
If this is all we’ll ever get?
[groovy rock music]
Would it really be so bad
If we left our chips unbet?
So we don’t need what they’re sellin’
Put your hand right here in mine
If we can leave here from this table
Not ahead and not behind
So we’ve already won
So we’ve already won
If you believe we’ve already won
Then we’ve already won
[electric guitar solo]
Just a couple of rats
Running around and around
Would you love where we’re at
With our feet on the ground?
So we don’t need what they’re sellin’
Put your hand right here in mine
And we can let them chase their tail
Leave this whole race behind
So we’ve already won
So we’ve already won
If you believe we’ve already won
Then we’ve already won
Would you believe we’ve already won?
We’ve already won
Would you believe
We’ve already won?
If you believe we’ve already won
Then we’ve already won
[audience applauding and cheering]
Whoo!
“I’ll Get It Right” by Nathan Graham
[gentle electric guitar music]
Spent all of my time
Asleep at the wheel
Never thought I’d get too far
I crawled down this road less known
And I just want my story told
Leave a trail of broken hearts
So we weren’t meant to suffer
Too much pride to cry
I’ll
I’ll get it right
I’ll get it right
I’ll get it right
One of these days
I know what to say
I’ll get it right
[bluesy rock music]
Dive after dive
Eileen after Jolene
And one more bottle down
Staring at the crowd
And they all look the same
What’s the name of this old town?
So we weren’t meant to suffer
But I’d rather die young than fade away
I’ll get it right
I’ll get it right
I’ll get it right
One of these days
I know what to say
I’ll get it right
[bluesy rock music]
And I’ll get it right
And I’ll get it right
And I’ll get it right
One of these days
I know what to say
One of these days
I know what to say
One of these days
I know what to say
And I’ll get it right
[bluesy rock music]
And I’ll get it right
And I’ll get it right
And I’ll get it right
One of these days
I know what to say
One of these days
I know what to say
One of these days
I know what to say
[audience applauding and cheering]
I’ll get it right
[bluesy rock music]
[audience applauding and cheering]
