Mary Burns lives along Wisconsin's Manitowish River and has woven since age 17. Her latest exhibit features 29 portraits of women working to preserve water quality and access around the world, from Great Lakes water walker Josephine Mandamin-ba to Detroit's Monica Lewis-Patrick, created through detailed Jacquard weaving.
