For More Information: Lynn Brockmeyer, WPT publicist, 608-263-3364, [email protected] Joel Waldinger, series producer, 608-890-2840, [email protected]  The next episode of In Wisconsin on Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) features reports on the comeback of breweries in Wisconsin towns, a photography exhibit of unique taverns, the history of the Green Bay Packers and Michael Perry takes a whimsical look at winter.  The newsmagazine airs 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3 on WPT and is available in high definition. WPT will encore the program at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5. The program also will air at 11:30 a.m. on Milwaukee's MPTV and on WDSE-TV in Duluth at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5. At one time, more than 240 Wisconsin towns had their own brewery. Today local breweries are making a comeback and in some places revitalizing small towns. In Wisconsin Reporter Andy Soth tours the National Brewery Museum in Potosi. According to award-winning photographer Carl Corey Wisconsin is the tavern state. For the past two years Corey has traversed the state for the slice-of-life photography exhibit, "Wisconsin Tavern League." In Wisconsin Reporter Jo Garrett shows viewers the colorful images he has captured in some of Wisconsin's most unique taverns. Some consider the Green Bay Packers one of the greatest stories in sports. It has been 14 years since the Packers have won the Super Bowl. A segment from WPT Producer Mik Derks explores how the legendary football franchise began and how a player named Curly Lambeau carried the team on his back. Michael Perry, farmer-turned-author, takes a whimsical look at winter in Wisconsin. Inspired by piles of snow and his daughter's snow tunnel creation, Perry digs deep into the snow in Eau Claire County. With luck and a lot of hard work there will be that magical "punch through.
