WPT's 35th-Annual Auction Invites Viewers to Bid on Travel Packages and More

Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) viewers can bid on travel packages in Wisconsin and throughout the United States beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 5. Travel destinations include Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, the Bayfield area, Door County, Galena, Ill., and more. Auction Showcase, beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 6, is the time to bid on a variety of items valued at $2,000 and more - art, jewelry, travel packages, sports tickets, and things for the home and office. Viewers can preview the Auction Showcase items 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 12 a.m. Friday, May 20 and 5 p.m. Saturday, May 22. Proceeds support WPT programs, outreach initiatives and events that serve to enrich the Wisconsin community. Friends of WPT organizes the auction as part of its role as the citizen-support group for WPT in south-central Wisconsin. WPT is a service of the Educational Communications Board and the University of Wisconsin-Extension.
