At 9 p.m. Monday, April 11, Rachel Carson: Sense of Wonder explores Rachel Carson's love for the natural world and her fight to defend it. At 8 p.m. Monday, April 18, American Masters "John Muir in the New World" profiles the life of America's first environmentalist and founder of the Sierra Club. WPT presents an encore of the program at 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 19. At 9:30 p.m. Monday, April 18, Ribbon of Sand looks at North Carolina's Outer Banks, a slim and moving line of sand in the open Atlantic Ocean. The program encores at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19. At 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, Nova "Power Surge" travels the globe to reveal the surprising technologies that just might turn back the clock on climate change.
