As winter settles over Wisconsin, the 30th annual PBS Wisconsin Garden & Landscape Expo brings a bit of spring-like warmth to the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Feb. 10-12. Event hours are noon to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12.

Beloved Wisconsin author and historian Jerry Apps and his daughter, author and educator Susan Apps-Bodilly, will explore the ways food shapes families and carries on legacies in an all-new television special, Jerry Apps Food & Memories, premiering 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28 on PBS Wisconsin.

Tonya Bauer, a library media specialist at John Marshall and Grant elementary schools, has earned the PBS Media Literacy Educator Certification, recognizing PreK-12 educators who demonstrate an ability to help learners think critically about media consumption and creation.

PBS Wisconsin Education is excited to announce the launch of its aka Teacher podcast, featuring local educator Daniel Torres-Rangel, research and innovation strategist at ROCKiT Madison Metropolitan School District, as one of four co-hosts.
