PBS Wisconsin Education and the Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) have expanded their Re/sound: Songs of Wisconsin classroom media collection to include Indian classical musician Lavanyaa Surendar and bluegrass/Americana band Black River Revue.

PBS Wisconsin and Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) will present the final round of the Madison Symphony Orchestra’s Bolz Young Artist Competition, featuring four of Wisconsin’s most talented high school musicians, in Wisconsin Young Artists Compete: The Final Forte.

In the all-new PBS Wisconsin special, Michael Perry: On the Road, viewers are invited to hit the road with the bestselling Wisconsin author, humorist and musician as he travels to historic Wisconsin theaters, telling some of his most popular stories.

PBS Wisconsin Education released a new addition to their Wisconsin Biographies collection last week: Geshe Lhundub Sopa: Carrying Teachings from Tibet. 

Gov. Tony Evers’ 2023 State of the State Address will air live 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24 on PBS Wisconsin and Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) and will stream live online at pbswisconsin.org and wpr.org.
