Behind the Canvas, a new documentary, will premiere 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20 on Wisconsin Public Television (WPT).

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) and PBS today announced that public media station Wisconsin Public Television has been awarded $175,000 to work with community partners in Westby and Cashton to provide science and literacy resources for the youngest learners in underserved areas.

After collaborating with educators and students from across Wisconsin, Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) Education has released a new online video game, Jo Wilder and the Capitol Case, that encourages students to experience history as they discover it for themselves. The game is now available to play online for free at WPTeducation.org.

The new public television documentary Wisconsin Hometown Stories: Eau Claire premieres on Wisconsin Public Television 8 p.m. Monday, July 16.

Wisconsin Public Television (WPT) announces that its Wisconsin Life story Jaxon's Wish has been honored with a 2018 Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) National Edward R. Murrow Award. The RTDNA Edward R. Murrow Awards are among the most prestigious in broadcast and digital news.
