On March 4, 2026, Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) and PBS Wisconsin will join public media stations across the country in recognizing Rural Voices Day, a national awareness campaign celebrating the vital role public media plays in rural communities.

Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) and PBS Wisconsin will present the final round of the Madison Symphony Orchestra’s Bolz Young Artist Competition, featuring four of Wisconsin’s most talented high school musicians, in Wisconsin Young Artists Compete: The Final Forte.

Join PBS Wisconsin and Wisconsin Public Radio on Wednesday, March 4, for the free Stevens Point community premiere of John McGivern’s Main Streets.

PBS Wisconsin has been recognized for its innovative approach to storytelling, collaboration and community building with an Overall Excellence in Innovation award from the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA) as part of the 57th Public Media Awards.

As we approach the 250th anniversary of our country, PBS Wisconsin, Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) and partners are hosting an initiative that provides opportunities for Wisconsinites to connect and reflect in communities across the state to discuss our shared history and the future of democracy.
