As winter settles over Wisconsin, the 27th-annual PBS Wisconsin Garden & Landscape Expo brings a bit of spring-like warmth to the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison Feb. 7-9. Event hours are: noon to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9.

In the all-new PBS Wisconsin special, Michael Perry: Where I Come From, the bestselling Wisconsin author, humorist and musician shares stories of growing up in rural Wisconsin, revealing how his family, friends and life experiences shaped his work.

One of a kind. A legend. Wisconsin’s Showman. For 50 years, Professor Michael Leckrone led the University of Wisconsin-Madison bands, providing the energy and school spirit for major sporting events, cultivating the lasting traditions of the annual Spring Varsity Band Concerts and inspiring generations of students who marched and performed under his direction.

The new public television documentary Wisconsin Hometown Stories: Sauk Prairie premieres on Wisconsin Public Television 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Join fourth-generation organic dairy farmer Inga Witscher for a new season of Around the Farm Table, shining a spotlight on Midwestern farmers and artisan food producers with recipes, stories and a lot of fun. Season 7 premieres 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 on Wisconsin Public Television.
