PBS Wisconsin Education will release a new Wisconsin Biographies story titled, Gaylord Nelson: A Vision for the Earth. Wisconsin Biographies is a collection of free educational, online media resources that shares the stories of notable Wisconsinites and enriches grade school social studies and literacy curriculum. Gaylord Nelson: A Vision for the Earth will be available for free online access starting Tuesday, April 14 at pbswisconsineducation.org.

As schools in Wisconsin have closed to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, PBS Wisconsin and Milwaukee PBS announce an ambitious plan, in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, to support at-home learning for students and families by broadcasting a new weekday television schedule of programming with digital resources that connect to Wisconsin’s state academic standards.

Wisconsin Supreme Court candidates Daniel Kelly and Jill Karofsky will discuss issues central to their campaigns for a seat on the state’s highest court in a candidate special that will be broadcast statewide 7 p.m. Friday, March 27.

Acapocalypse! A Cappella’s New Note, an upcoming hour-long documentary, follows three Wisconsin high school vocal groups as they prepare for and perform in the Port Washington Acapocalypse, an annual a cappella festival celebrating the best young a cappella groups from around the state. Acapocalypse! A Cappella’s New Note, will premiere 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 31 on PBS Wisconsin. The full program will also be available for live streaming on PBS Wisconsin’s Facebook page and available for viewing on the day of the broadcast at pbswisconsin.org.

PBS Wisconsin Education has released a new Wisconsin Biographies story titled Milly Zantow: Recycling Revolutionary. Wisconsin Biographies is a collection of free educational, online media resources to share the stories of notable Wisconsinites and enrich grade school social studies and literacy curriculum. Milly Zantow: Recycling Revolutionary is available online at pbswisconsineducation.org. Created as part of the Wisconsin Hometown Stories: Sauk Prairie project, this new Wisconsin Biographies story explores the life of Milly Zantow, a courageous changemaker in the world of recycling.
