PBS Wisconsin’s exercise series Quick Fit With Cassy provides short, educational fitness routines to help participants improve their balance, strength and flexibility. Hosted by Cassy Vieth, a certified fitness trainer from Wisconsin, this digital series will help viewers understand how to correctly engage all areas of the body and stay motivated to maintain their commitment to physical wellness. 

Centro Hispano of Dane County, in collaboration with PBS Wisconsin, will host The Evening of Dreaming virtually at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021. This free, online event will showcase the diversity of Latino cuisine and explore the cultural significance of food. 

On the bottom of Wisconsin’s Great Lakes lie the wrecks of over 700 ships. Each one tells a story about the state’s maritime history, the mariners that worked on them, the industries and communities they served, and the dangers of the unforgiving lakes. PBS Wisconsin’s newest documentary Shipwrecks! tells a story of exploration and takes viewers below the surface to an underwater museum of marvel. Shipwrecks! premieres 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30 on PBS Wisconsin.

The new public television documentary Wisconsin Hometown Stories: Stevens Point premieres on PBS Wisconsin 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25. The program will also be available for free on-demand streaming online at wisconsinhometownstories.org and on the free PBS app on streaming devices and Smart TVs.

A special exhibit, “Racism: In the Face of Hate We Resist,” will be presented by Textile Center and Women of Color Quilters Network at the virtual 2021 Great Wisconsin Quilt Show. This international juried exhibit of 63 quilts shares the stories of resistance and fortitude that have been integral to the survival of Black people in America. In response to the murder of George Floyd, quilters expressed their grief, outrage and hope through stunning textile art.
