PBS Wisconsin Education has released a new Wisconsin Biographies resource titled, "Mahmoud Othman Atta: A Mosque for Milwaukee." Wisconsin Biographies is a collection of free educational, online media resources that shares the stories of notable Wisconsinites and enriches grade school social studies and literacy curriculum.

The newest installment in PBS Wisconsin’s ongoing local history project, "Wisconsin Hometown Stories: Appleton" premieres at 8 p.m. Monday, April 24 on PBS Wisconsin. Area residents will have a chance to see the full documentary ahead of the television premiere at two free community screenings.

PBS Wisconsin Education and the Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) have expanded their Re/sound: Songs of Wisconsin classroom media collection to include Indian classical musician Lavanyaa Surendar and bluegrass/Americana band Black River Revue.

PBS Wisconsin and Wisconsin Public Radio (WPR) will present the final round of the Madison Symphony Orchestra’s Bolz Young Artist Competition, featuring four of Wisconsin’s most talented high school musicians, in Wisconsin Young Artists Compete: The Final Forte.

In the all-new PBS Wisconsin special, Michael Perry: On the Road, viewers are invited to hit the road with the bestselling Wisconsin author, humorist and musician as he travels to historic Wisconsin theaters, telling some of his most popular stories.
