Deer Hunt 2010, airing at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11 on Wisconsin Public Television's (WPT) Wisconsin Channel, provides a valuable review what every hunter should know before heading to the woods. Hosted by Dan Small, the program features important information from Department of Natural Resources conservation wardens and University of Wisconsin-Madison wildlife biologists. Deer Hunt 2010 also includes stories from veteran hunters, an update on chronic wasting disease, a review of tree-stand safety and new hunting rules, and a statewide deer season forecast.
