University Place Recording: ‘Vascular Contributions to Dementia’

PBS Wisconsin’s University Place will record “Vascular Contributions to Dementia,” a presentation by Dr. Carol Van Hulle, a research scientist with the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at UW-Madison. Dr. Van Hulle will discuss how vascular risk factors contribute to dementia and what can be done to reduce Alzheimer’s risk.

Dr. Van Hulle received her Ph.D. in psychology with an emphasis in quantitative genetics from the University of Colorado and is an academic staff scientist with the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. Her research focuses on subjective memory complaints and cerebrospinal fluid-based biomarkers for early detection of Alzheimer’s disease.
