Join the Friends of the Fox River Trail at the Mulva Cultural Center for a screening of the film From Rails to Trails on April 9 at 6:30 pm!
The Fox River Trail was completed and opened in 2001 due to the Rails to Trails grassroots movement that transformed abandoned railroads into public trails for walking and cycling. To commemorate the anniversary, Friends of Fox River trail will show the new documentary, From Rails to Trails, a production of From Rails to Trails Film, LLC, and distributed by American Public Television.
Following the documentary, a panel discussion will take place with local advocates, elected officials, and municipal staff members who were instrumental in the making the Fox River Trail a reality in 2001.
