Join the UW Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education (CIPE) as we present an inspiring Knowledge Exchange Series. On Wednesday, October 15 at 5 p.m. we’ll feature a documentary screening and panel discussion that explores the urgent question: What is Caregiving and what does it look like in the state of Wisconsin?

Headlining the event is a screening of a 30-minute segment from the new PBS documentary Caregiving, executive produced by Bradley Cooper. This timely, thought-provoking documentary shines a spotlight on the lives of caregivers and the emotional, physical, financial and societal challenges they face in the U.S. today. Watch a trailer for the film at the bottom of this listing.

A panel discussion featuring local caregivers and policy experts will follow the screening. Students, faculty, staff and community members are encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served before the screening, from 4:30-5:00pm.
