Caryl Pagel, Director of the Cleveland State University Poetry Center, will discuss the life and work of 20th century Wisconsin poet Lorine Niedecker. This talk will serve as an introduction to Niedecker’s biography and literary significance as well as her relationship with humor, reading, place-based writing, and Midwestern environmental histories.
