Andrew Carlson has been a Community Engagement Manager at PBS Wisconsin since October 2022. Before coming to PBS Wisconsin, Andrew worked in marketing for the Wisconsin Department of Tourism, learning just how unique Wisconsin is. He’s lived and worked in Japan, Australia and the oh-so-far-away Minnesota. Throughout his career, he has championed values of education, exploration and empathy. He currently volunteers as an ambassador and Program Committee member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County.

In his free time, you’ll find him canoeing Madison’s lakes, singing in karaoke booths, laughing through silences or curled up alongside his cat with a NOVA documentary or sci-fi/fantasy novel.
