Classic French Tarte Tatin

Give your tarts a name based on the flavors and decoration – and tell us about your recipe.

Maple Syrup Tarte Tatin. I used maple syrup instead of sugar for caramelizing the apples. I think I could have added more syrup to give it more of a maple flavor.

Now that you survived this challenge, what words of wisdom do you have to share?

I think that my pie crust could have been a little thinner.

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist.

I added maple syrup that my Grandpa makes every year from the maple trees in his woods. I help when I can.
