Tell us about your creation's final texture after baking. Are you happy with it?
Yes, I think everything turned out great. Texture-wise, the macarons cracked and the petit four cake was a bit lumpy on the sides, but it’s the kind of thing only the baker would notice. If you close your eyes and take a bite, it’s perfect. The marshmallow was flawless through and through.
Detail how you added a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or presentation.
I made everything in a red-and-white color palette for UW-Madison. Unfortunately, the red wasn’t as red as I had hoped! Hard to get a really bright color without making the thing turn your tongue a funny color when you eat it!
