Give your pie a name based on the ingredients and decoration.

Lentil Wellington. It’s carrots, lentils, white beans and mushroom duxelles wrapped in homemade rough puff pastry.

Tell us about your proudest moment – or humble failure – in this week’s baking challenge.

Slicing into the Wellington was my favorite part-miraculously it all just worked, and you could see the carrot flower in the middle!

Describe how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.

I went to Milwaukee this weekend for a puzzling convention and picked up some real Wisconsin butter for the homemade puff pastry-good butter makes a huge difference here!
