Tell us about your proudest moment – or humble failure – in this week’s baking challenge.

This was harder than I thought it would be! I baked the red cake first and it started crumbling as I shaped it into a W. I think it would work better with a recipe that makes a firmer cake – like a pound cake.

Describe how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.

I went to UW and even though I now live in Illinois, I’m still a Wisconsinite on the inside, just like my cake 😉
