This is a practiced recipe and not much of a stretch. I suppose, if there were a failure, it would be that I didn't try something new.
Describe how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.
Cherries are in the markets and begging to be pie. Local lard and butter make the crust flaky. The owl, moon, and star decorations are in honor of the owl who's recently taken up residence in Quarry park, adding something special to my WI neighborhood.
