Have fun giving your creation a name and please describe your recipe.

Brandy Old Fashioned Cheese Danish. Fresh Bing cherries were simmered in fresh orange juice, sugar, corn starch and brandy. For the cream cheese filling we mixed cream cheese, egg, confectioners sugar and Angostura bitters.

Tell us about your pastry dough and final texture after baking. Are you happy with it?

Could have gone better. We baked twice, trying different shapes each time. We poked holes in the depression made to hold the filling, but these always puffed up and the filling would start to slide off toward the end of the bake. The rectangles turned out best.
