What was your favorite thing about The Great Wisconsin Baking challenge overall (whether you participated in one or all challenges)? What did you learn from this final challenge? What are you most proud of when it comes to your bake?
The best moment of this challenge was sharing with extended family today. They loved it! We hadn’t made gluten free anything prior to this challenge and didn’t know what to expect from the Red Mill 1:1 flour. The cake was dense and moist… nice! The cake (with homemade cherry jam, orange mouse and chocolate ganache) took 7 hours start to finish. I’d make again, but only for a special occasion.

We did it! Team Shlimder completed all 10 challenges with a brandy old fashioned theme. We still have brandy left over… anyone?
