Adding lemon and/or lime zest to cookies dough is a great way to infuse lots of flavor. However, don’t add lemon or lime zest to the frosting if you plan to use decorating tubes. The zest will plug the decorating tube tips and cause much frustration. Hey, it seemed like a good idea at the time…
Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist.
Okay, so lemons and limes aren’t exactly a Wisconsin thing, but we love lemony food and drinks in the summer. We did use all Wisconsin dairy products and free range eggs from a local farm.
