Gingerbread Structure

The Disappearing Family Farm. We used a Better Homes and Gardens gingerbread recipe. The dough didn't taste very good, but it doesn't matter because we aren't going to eat it. It was a really fun challenge and we loved the way it turned out!
Would you describe yourself as a rogue baker, or do you strictly adhere to the recipe?
We stuck to the recipe with this one because we've never made gingerbread before.
Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.
This week's bake is in honor and memory of all the small family farms that used to be all over rural Wisconsin, including my own family's farm that was in the town of Eaton in Brown County. It's a great/hard-working way of life that is sadly disappearing.
