When I cut into the loaf and saw the texture of the crumb and the aroma of the lemon. It’s SO delicious. I took a photo, and immediately sent it off with my husband to share with nearby friends. I’m having trouble with the photo upload, but will share as soon as I can!

Describe how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.

My twist didn’t stray far from the classic version. Since Castor sugar isn’t readily available here in rural Wisconsin, I substituted granulated sugar. I used fresh strawberries from my garden as garnish.

It’s perfect – and I’m not sharing!
