Scallion Pancakes. My daughter requested Chinese food for her high school graduation celebration. Mine did not turn out as light as the ones we enjoyed in China, but they were still pretty tasty.

Would you describe yourself as a rogue baker, or do you strictly adhere to the recipe?

I love to browse recipes and then figure out how to combine the best of each or add my own flavors and techniques.

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your bread creation.

My Wisconsin twist was serving the scallion pancakes to the Wisconsin friends and family at the party. Most of the guests had never had them before.

How did you do?
