I reviewed many recipes online before deciding on one to modify for my cake.

Tell us about your proudest moment – or humble failure – in this week’s baking challenge.

I was so pleased that the cake came out of the pan! I was not pleased when my husband asked me if the rhubarb on the cake was pickles!

Describe how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.

I used two of my Wisconsin favorites: rhubarb and cranberries. I grow rhubarb in my yard and luckily we can get frozen cranberries year-round in Wisconsin.
