How did you add a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or decoration?
Hello! Wisconsin Wood Violets in bread on Wisconsin Baking Challenge Botanical Week! I had dried violets this spring and so used some of them in the fougasse dough along with the fresh herbs, which I picked right from the garden. The violets added a delicate flavor, and some fun color. Wild. I’d never thought of adding violets to bread before, but botanical week seemed to demand it.
