Strawberry Blueberry Maple Whirls

Now that you survived this challenge, what words of wisdom do you have to share?

I wanted to make Wisconsin inspired whirl cookies, so added local maple syrup to the dough, and made the fruit in the jam local, too (and personally picked!). The finished product was almost like eating some sort of blueberry pancake tasting cookie. Quite rich!

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist.

I added maple syrup to the cookies, and the jam filling was strawberry-blueberry from strawberries and blueberries I picked in Wisconsin.
