What was the biggest surprise during your baking journey? Did you use any unconventional approaches? What did you learn along the way? Tell us about it!
I had thought it would be like a jelly roll but the recipes where mostly eggs. I tried one recipe but it was a total flop I did not even fill or roll. I dug deeper and found Mary Berry’s recipe and it worked great. Just used Hershey’s chocolate chips but tasted great. I learned not all recipes are created equal.
How did you add a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or decoration?
I added the last of our Wisconsin raspberries to the roulade.
