Give your bread a name and tell us about your recipe.

German and raspberry dampfnudel. Used the recipe from my German cookbook. I have been learning many German recipes from our various Bavarian exchange students. It was great to expand my German recipes.

Would you describe yourself as a rogue baker, or do you strictly adhere to the recipe?

I was fairly strict to the recipe except adding raspberries.

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your bread creation.

I asked one of my German girls and she said her mom had added apples to the pan. I added raspberries because that is what is now ripe in Wisconsin.
