Now that you survived this challenge, what words of wisdom do you have to share?

My tart was baked in a springform pan, which worked well, but I took it out of the oven a little too soon. The pastry had started to turn golden but I was afraid of it overbaking. I should have been more patient.

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist.

The main ingredient in the tart filling was Wisconsin cranberries. I froze several bags around Thanksgiving when they were in season. I used candied orange slices for the design. They were a nice compliment to the tart filling.
