Treacle Tart. I followed Mary Berry’s official recipe with the exception of using breadcrumbs from some Wisconsin artisan bread my mom had. I did order in Golden Syrup off Amazon, too.

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist.
I used Wisconsin artisan bread my mom had & made it into the breadcrumbs. For the egg wash, I used an egg from one of my chickens. The true Wisconsin twist is that I made this while visiting my parents up in Rhinelander. In Wisconsin, we take care of our loved ones and my parents haven’t been getting to share in my baking adventures with being an hour away & homebound right now. So I brought up my baking stuff so they could share in the fun of the baking challenge.
