Give your creation a name – and tell us about your recipe.

Brandy Old Fashioned Sweet Buns. I made an orange-flavored Scottish sweet roll. I doctored up some cherry jam with fresh cherries and bitters and I made a brandy whipped cream. I sandwiched the jam and cream between the buns, then topped and garnished with more whipped cream, a cherry half and homemade, candied orange peel.

Now that you’ve survived this challenge, what words of wisdom can you share?

Don’t be afraid to play around with flavors and get other people to test things for you.

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist.

I based my recipe off of the classic WI cocktail, the Brandy Old Fashioned.
