Have fun giving your creation a name and please describe your recipe.
The name of my danishes are "The Raspberry Cheesecake Danish." For my recipe I used Paul Hollywood’s Danish pastry dough recipe and I filled it with a cheese filling that ended up tasting like cheesecake and topped it off with a raspberry from our garden. There would be more raspberries if my family and the robins did not eat most of the delicious raspberries first.
Tell us about your pastry dough and final texture after baking. Are you happy with it?
When you cut a knife through the pastry you can hear the crunch of the layers. There were just so many delicate layers in the pastry that you would never get from anything store bought.
Detail how you added a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or presentation.
I added a Wisconsin twist by using Wisconsin cream cheese and fresh raspberries from out garden.
How did you do?
