Mini Pies

Capitol Creation – apple and raspberry mini hand pies sourced from local farmers markets! Most proud of my nice flaky pastry.
The key to this week’s challenge is your creative presentation. Describe your display.
I cut out a rough design of the Wisconsin State Capitol in extra pie dough and laid my pieces meticulously. The design came out a bit more squished than planned, but with piping it came together pretty well!
It’s Wisconsin Week, so you need to showcase a super Wisconsin twist to your recipe and/or arrangement. Tell us about it.
It took me a while to come up with an idea for this challenge, I was creatived out from GISHWHES last week. But! I thought about where I got my produce, and decided to honor the Dane County Farmers Market with a tribute to the Capitol!
