10 Jam Doughnuts
Give your creation a name – and tell us about your recipe.
"Tea Time" Raspberry Jam Doughnuts – I used Paul Hollywood's recipe but I modified his recipe so it did not take so long to make. I used my proofing oven and got great results.
Now that you’ve survived this challenge, what words of wisdom can you share?
I enjoyed making the jam doughnuts. They were not hard to make. My yeast was very active so the first time that I made the doughnuts, I got huge doughnuts when I made only 10. The second time that I made them, I made 20 doughnuts which were not so big. The size was enough to eat at one setting and they tasted better than those bought at a bakery.
Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist.
Wisconsin products used were raspberries, butter, eggs and milk. I made my own jam from the raspberries from my little patch in the back yard.
How did you do?
Absolutely lovely.
