Garlic and Cheese Bagels and Chocolate Chip Bagels – I used Paul Hollywood’s recipe because I had a busy week and took the easy recipe.
Would you describe yourself as a rogue baker, or do you strictly adhere to the recipe?
I strictly stuck adhered to the recipe except that I added cheese and fresh garlic to the savory bagels and chocolate chips to the sweet bagels. I have always wanted to make bagels but never took the time to make them. I was surprised that they tasted delicious.
Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your bread creation.
The only WI twist used was sharp cheddar cheese made in WI and home grown garlic. When using the cheese and garlic, I should of used more flour because the bagels were moist and they spread out.
