Lilly's Mini Queen of Puddings – A bread pudding made with sourdough bread crumbs, custard, homemade raspberry jam and a meringue topping.

What was the biggest surprise during your baking journey? Did you use any unconventional approaches? What did you learn along the way? Tell us about it!

I used a Paul Hollywood recipe for a guide, but made some changes to make it my own. Making the conversions from the metric weights in Paul's recipe was trickier than I expected. When making the meringue, we used too much sugar, so I had to add an extra egg white. Thankfully, it still turned out.

How did you add a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or decoration?

I used Wisconsin butter and eggs. I also used raspberry jam my mom made from the raspberries in our garden.
