Designer Fruit Tart

Give your tarts a name based on the flavors and decoration – and tell us about your recipe.

Stars and Stripes (and fruit tarts) Forever. I used the Bon Appetit, "Fruit Tart with Almond Crust," recipe but did not have the almond flour. Now that I have the tart shell I will definitely make this recipe again and try out the almond flour option.

Now that you survived this challenge, what words of wisdom do you have to share?

This was a fun one! I cut the fruit into stars and stripes which I thought turned out well. We usually make a blue and red fruit pizza for the fourth so this was just a fancier version of that!

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist.

I made this tart while I was out at the lake for the Fourth! I enjoyed it with my Wisconsin family and friends after a beautiful day of grilling out, parades, and fireworks as a sweet end to the day!
