Give your biscuits a name and tell us about your recipe.
"Everything but the Kitchen Sink" Crackers-Crackers! Made one batch the way the recipe told me to (with paprika, garlic, onion and chili powder), and they were pretty bland. So, for the second batch I added a bunch of random spices (pretty much every herb, turmeric, garlic salt)-much more flavorful! The thinner ones have that cracker snap!
Would you describe yourself as a rogue baker, or do you strictly adhere to the recipe?
Rogue! Though lately I’ve been sticking to the recipe more often, I’ve definitely had my fair share of successes (and failures) with cutting/adding/substituting certain ingredients.
Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.
I used Wisconsin butter, made some crackers in the shape of Wisconsin, and ate them with Wisconsin cheese, tomatoes and basil. Delicious!
How did you do?
