Smokey Blue Cheese and Wild Ramp Crackers

Tell us about how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.

I grabbed "The Great British Baking Bake Off" cookbook off the shelf at our awesome Eau Claire library and used the cottage cheese puff biscuit recipe. For the Wisconsin Twist, I substituted local organic Castle Rock Creamery smokey blue cheese and wild ramp salt, both made in Osseo, Wisconsin. I've never made crackers before but I will again; the cheese flavor is incredible. With all that pungent blue cheese flavor, I'm not sure you could top with more cheese…wait a minute, we are in Wisconsin, so YES!
