SASSY Strudel – Sultana Apple Super Strudel Yo. I found this recipe on the King Arthur flour website; they really want people to succeed with their product as it was wonderfully detailed, in my opinion.
What was the biggest surprise during your baking journey? Did you use any unconventional approaches? What did you learn along the way? Tell us about it!
I absolutely loved stretching out the dough and I had been dreading it. It was so satisfying, I took the recipe’s advice to show no fear once I started, and they were right. Having it roll up so easy seemed completely brilliant!
How did you add a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or decoration?
Hand-rolled with love here in Wisconsin and cheers to Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy for steadying my nerves for the big stretch.
