Since I didn’t have a fluted pan I used two 10" rounds. Unfortunately, one cake was lopsided and also split, so the finished cake is only one layer. However, considering the two sticks of butter in the batter, I think cutting the amount of cake in half will be a blessing in disguise as far as my waistline in concerned.
